HOW AND WHEN TO ORDER

Please complete our customize inquiry form for customized cakes.

For small custom cake [single or two tiers] and dessert bits minimum 1-2 weeks advance notice is needed.

For large custom cake [three tiers or more] minimum 3-4 weeks in advance.

For order less than 48 hours prior to collection/delivery date we DO accept Instagram DM and Wechat message. We will try our best to help.


CAKE AND CAKESICLE FLAVOURS

Chocolate raspberry - chocolate sponge. raspberry jam. dark chocolate cream

Blueberry - blueberry sponge. blueberry jam. white chocolate cream

Tropical - vanilla sponge. mango jam. passionfruit cream

Coffee - coffee sponge. espresso jelly. coffee cream

Matcha - green tea sponge. red bean. matcha cream

Hazelnut chocolate -  chocolate sponge. sea salt caramel. hazelnut praline cream

Lemon elderflower - lemon sponge. zesty lemon curd. elderflower cream

Pistachio strawberry - pistachio sponge. strawberry jam. pistachio praline cream

*All the creams are whipped chocolate cream (light chocolate ganache). our cake is finished with swiss meringue buttercream and/or chocolate spray.

We do not cover cakes with fondant.


DESSERT BITES INFO

We currently offer 4 types of dessert bites

-Cakesicle from 7 dollars, minimum order 12 units per style and could mix flavors.

Flavors same as our cake range Chocolate raspberry \ Blueberry \ Tropical \ Coffee \ Matcha \Hazelnut chocolate\ Lemon elderflower\ Pistachio strawberry

-Macaron from 3.5 dollars, minimum order 12 units per style or flavour.

Blueberry \ Raspberry \ Chocolate caramel

-Dessert jar (or mini dessert cup) 12 dollars each (mini dessert cup from 5 dollars, minimum order 12 units per flavour.)

Matcha & black sesame mousse \ Orange & earl grey tea mousse \ strawberry & pistachio cheesecake \ Espresso tiramisu \ Dark Chocolate mousse \ Mango coconut pudding  

-Cupcake from 6 dollars, minimum order 12 units per style or flavour.

 


CUSTOM CAKE PRICE

Each cake is individually priced taking in to account the size, complexity in the final design and any special requirements.

We have a minimum spend of $200 and our minimum size for custom cakes is 6  inch.

However, we find most clients opt for custom designed cakes that fall in the below price guide:

- 6 inch cake -10 dessert or  20 coffee servings from 200 dollars.

- 8 inch cake - 20 dessert or 40 coffee servings from 320 dollars.

- 4 + 6 inch cake - 15 dessert or 30 coffee servings from 310 dollars.

- 6 + 8 inch cake - 30 dessert or 60 coffee servings from 490 dollars.

- 4 + 6 + 8 inch cake - 35 dessert or 70 coffee servings from 580 dollars.

- 4 + 6 + 8 +10 inch cake - 65 dessert or 130 coffee servings from 1010 dollars.


SERVING SIZE

Our single tier cakes are a standard 4 layers, approx. 5 inches high. Custom layers/heights available by enquiry.

Yes, we do offer our cakesicles as cake tasting . Pre-order here or email us on kcakedessert@gmail.com.


BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required on custom orders to secure your date with remaining payment to be paid 10 workings days before the delivery date.
Bookings are only confirmed once deposit is paid.

Cancellations which require refunds will only be honored if notified 10 working days prior to delivery.
No refunds or cancellations will not be given if within 10 working days of delivery.


PICK UP OR DELIVERY

For small cake [single or two tiers] and dessert orders, we recommend pick up from our Ellerslie studio.

For large custom cakes [three tiers or more], we charge a delivery and set up fee based on the number of kilometres travelled to your venue. Cakes are generally delivered on the day of the event. You are welcome to collect your cake from our studio, however we recommend that larger tiered cakes be delivered as this is a complex and delicate task!


STORAGE

All our cakes and desserts should be stored in the refrigerator and taken out to be brought to room temperature 1 hours prior to serving.
Dessert bits serve directly from the fridge.
Chocolate bars should be stored in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight (18ºC)
